This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Assume responsibility for validating and enhancing the quality of HERE’s HD map products.
• Operate at the convergence of data, automation, and product, influencing the testing and reliability of extensive geospatial systems.
• Promote modern testing methodologies and develop automation-first validation frameworks.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, data science, and product teams to ensure our maps function reliably under real-world conditions.
• Establish and implement test strategies for HD map products, encompassing content validation and hybrid testing methodologies.
• Convert product and data specifications into scalable validation frameworks.
• Design and execute test plans, cases, and data pipelines for product-level validation.
• Create and sustain automation-driven testing frameworks for large-scale data validation.
• Work alongside Data Science teams to incorporate metric-driven and machine learning validation signals.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, and Program teams to synchronize validation efforts with release priorities.
• Analyze results, identify gaps, and foster continuous improvement in testing methodologies.
• Contribute to tooling, infrastructure, and automation to enhance efficiency and coverage.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Over 7 years of experience in test engineering, data engineering, or a similar domain.
• Profound understanding of SDLC and agile development practices.
• Extensive experience with end-to-end testing utilizing both manual and automated approaches.
• Advanced proficiency in Python, including automation and data validation workflows.
• Experience with SQL and handling data pipelines.
• Strong analytical mindset with meticulous attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication abilities and capacity to collaborate across functions.
• Preferred: Familiarity with geospatial data models or HD map products.
• Knowledge of HERE tools such as Unimap, HDLM Viewer, or Map Creator.
• Exposure to cloud environments and pipeline-based systems.
• Experience in applying machine learning for validation or anomaly detection.
• ISTQB or equivalent testing certifications.
