Automation Framework Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design, create, and sustain scalable user interface automation frameworks utilizing Playwright and Selenium.

• Develop frameworks that cater to multiple teams, applications, environments, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

• Construct reusable components for API and integration testing using tools such as Postman, GraphQL, PactumJS, and REST clients.

• Assist with workflows that are document-intensive and compliance-focused, including disclosure validation, optical character recognition (OCR), and document intelligence.

• Establish automation observability including logging, diagnostics, flaky test detection, and trend analysis.

• Facilitate AI-driven automation processes such as test generation, regression optimization, and failure analysis.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience in developing and maintaining enterprise-level automation frameworks.

• Proficient coding skills in TypeScript, JavaScript, or C#.

• Strong proficiency with Playwright, Selenium, or equivalent automation tools.

• Significant experience with CI/CD processes, ideally using Azure DevOps.

• Capability in designing automation for distributed systems, APIs, integrations, and intricate workflows.

• Skill to articulate real-world framework design decisions, trade-offs, and strategies for long-term maintenance.

• Nice-to-Haves

• Experience in mortgage, lending, banking, or FinTech sectors.

• Familiarity with compliance-heavy or document-centric workflows.

• Knowledge of AI-assisted quality assurance, Azure OpenAI, or Claude.

• Experience with Azure Document Intelligence.

• Expertise in optimizing regression test selection.
