Senior Quantitative Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Create and implement quantitative models and trading algorithms.

• Construct and enhance backtesting and research frameworks.

• Analyze and process extensive market data across various asset classes.

• Design portfolio optimization and risk management solutions.

• Connect trading infrastructure with brokerage and execution platforms.

• Work alongside software engineers, quantitative researchers, and stakeholders to provide production-ready trading solutions.

• Enhance the performance, scalability, and reliability of quantitative systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in Python development.

• Demonstrated expertise in quantitative finance and algorithmic trading.

• In-depth knowledge of Python data and quantitative libraries including: Pandas, NumPy, Polars, VectorBT, Backtrader, and QuantConnect LEAN.

• Familiarity with: Portfolio optimization, Risk management, Backtesting frameworks, Monte Carlo simulations, and Walk-forward analysis.

• Hands-on experience in processing market data for equities, futures, forex, and cryptocurrency markets.

• Proficiency with machine learning frameworks such as XGBoost, LightGBM, or PyTorch.

• Strong understanding of PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB, Docker, Git, and CI/CD practices.

• Experience in integrating trading platforms using FIX Protocol, Interactive Brokers, Alpaca, or LMAX.

• Knowledge of institutional trading systems, including OMS, EMS, and low-latency trading environments.
