• Lead the management of supplier quality across India and Asia, ensuring adherence to BusPatrol policies, customer expectations, and international standards.
• Conduct audits of suppliers and manufacturing processes to confirm compliance and maintain preparedness.
• Deliver clear and actionable reports regarding supplier performance, risks, and initiatives for continuous improvement.
• Uphold independence and objectivity in all supplier interactions.
• Collaborate closely with BusPatrol’s engineering department.
• Serve as the main quality liaison between BusPatrol Engineering and overseas manufacturing partners during New Product Introductions (NPI).
• Oversee the execution of EVT/DVT builds, End of Line (EOL), Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and readiness of manufacturing lines.
• Provide insights on quality and manufacturability for test plans, certifications, and process requirements.
• Audit and validate supplier readiness to ensure quality and reliability prior to production ramp-up.
• Assist with documentation requirements (PPAP, ECR/ECN, etc.) in partnership with the HQ Document Control team.
• Lead investigations into supplier and manufacturing quality concerns, including persistent failures and systemic component challenges.
• Facilitate root cause analysis and 8D reporting, ensuring that corrective and preventive measures are executed in accordance with BusPatrol policies and contractual obligations.
• Collaborate with internal teams—such as Engineering and Field Installation & Service Operations—to gather field data and tackle quality issues.
• Function as the company's representative for direct supplier engagement during escalations and interventions.
• 10–15 years of experience in Quality Management, Supplier Quality Engineering, or Manufacturing Oversight within global supply chains.
• Strong expertise in ISO/TS standards, PPAP, APQP, and related quality frameworks.
• Proven experience in supporting NPI activities, including EVT/DVT/PVT builds, EOL builds, PPAP submissions, and ECR/ECN/NCR deliverables.
• Practical experience in leading root cause analysis, implementing corrective actions, and closing 8D reports with suppliers.
• Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) workflows and collaboration with document control teams.
• Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, with the capability to clearly convey complex information to global stakeholders.
• Established record of integrity, independence, and reliability in managing suppliers.
• Willingness to travel extensively internationally (Asia + U.S.). Must possess a valid passport with no restrictions for entry into the following countries: USA, Japan, China, Vietnam, Philippines, etc.
