Senior Quality Engineer, SDET

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Developing and executing a sustainable testing strategy for a MAUI desktop application

• Creating and managing UI automation tests using WinAppDriver, FlaUI, and UIA3

• Incorporating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, including Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions

• Collaborating closely with developers to ensure features are designed with testability in mind

• Assisting in the definition of clear, testable acceptance criteria for each user story

• Implementing quality metrics such as test coverage, regression stability, and build health

⛳️ Requirements

• You possess experience in testing desktop applications, including MAUI, WPF, WinUI, or similar frameworks

• You have the ability to write maintainable automation code that developers are eager to retain

• You have experience working in Agile teams and collaborate effectively with engineers

• You prioritize preventing bugs rather than merely identifying them

• You can operate independently and contribute innovative ideas beyond just test cases

• Bonus points for having experience with .NET MAUI

• Bonus points for familiarity with UI Automation or accessibility APIs

• Bonus points for experience with WebSockets or real-time systems

• Bonus points for having introduced QA practices in teams with minimal existing practices
