Senior Quality Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee manual and automated testing initiatives across various projects

• Establish test strategies, estimations, timelines, and resource allocation

• Conduct risk-based testing and facilitate release sign-off procedures

• Engage in test design evaluations, defect triage, and communication with stakeholders

• Guide team members on best practices for testing and automation standards

• Administer test case management, track test execution, and manage the defect lifecycle

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in API testing

• Extensive experience with Java

• Proficient in JavaScript

• Familiarity with WebDriverIO

• Knowledge of qTest or a similar test tracking system

• Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments

• Strong comprehension of SDLC, STLC, and continuous testing methodologies

• Design and upkeep of automation frameworks

• Practical experience with Postman, Katalon Studio, and Gherkin-based BDD frameworks

• Capability to write SQL queries for backend validation

• Experience with CI/CD integration using Jenkins

• Proficient in version control using Git
