Principal Supplier Quality Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee various quality assurance initiatives to ensure that externally sourced products adhere to the quality and technical standards established by Westinghouse.

• Lead teams in formulating intricate supplier development program strategies.

• Guide junior oversight staff in conducting verification tasks, managing supplier oversight, and addressing supplier quality challenges.

• Supervise multiple teams in carrying out supplier oversight activities to confirm adherence to quality and technical specifications.

• Create and execute supplier surveillance and oversight strategies for complex procurement processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in an engineering or technical discipline.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in supplier oversight.

• Attainment of lead auditor qualifications (ANSI 45.2.23/NQA-1) and inspector qualifications (ANSI N45.2.9/NQA-1); current qualifications are preferred.

• Proficient understanding and application of US NRC Regulations and European Standards, including 10CFR50 Appendix B and 10CFR21.

• Knowledge of NDE techniques and relevant practices such as SNT-TC-1A, ESPN / RCC.
