Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Develop, execute, and oversee processes to ensure that products meet the necessary specifications for quality, functionality, and reliability prior to delivery.

• Convey quality standards and parameters to the QA and development teams.

• Organize product testing procedures.

• Identify and examine issues, bugs, defects, and recurring problems across various products.

• Suggest and facilitate solutions for quality-related concerns.

• Review feedback from clients, customers, and users.

• Collaborate with the manager to communicate product releases to the business.

• Oversee daily QA activities related to submissions from the Engineering Team.

• Test products to ensure that software operates smoothly and meets client requirements regarding functionality and scalability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and/or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

• A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in QA/testing automation.

• Proficiency in business software systems and user management.

• Familiarity with software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

• Knowledge of AI-assisted testing tools and workflows, including the use of LLMs for generating test cases, analyzing logs, and identifying edge cases.

• Experience with Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, and Cypress for comprehensive browser-based testing.

• Proficient in using API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar frameworks.

• Familiarity with AI-driven QA platforms such as Testim, Mabl, or Functionize.

• Understanding of CI/CD integration for automated testing pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI.

• Capability to evaluate and adopt new AI tools.

• Comfort in working alongside AI-generated code and validating its accuracy through structured testing strategies.

• Awareness of responsible AI practices in testing, basic prompt engineering, and model limitations.

• Team-oriented with a strong ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and priorities.

• Resourceful and eager to learn new techniques.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.

• Outstanding interpersonal communication abilities, both verbal and written.

• Willingness to work during US EST hours.
