Senior QA Test Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop testing and automation strategies, estimates, and project timelines for software quality assurance.

• Collaborate with product owners to design and formulate test cases and scenarios.

• Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to junior QA engineers.

• Partner with product owners, DevOps, and software engineers to establish a continuous delivery framework.

• Work alongside engineers, testers, and product management to influence product development and enhance product quality.

• Design and execute thorough test automation frameworks and strategies for web applications, APIs, and data pipelines.

• Construct and sustain automated test suites utilizing Playwright, Selenium, Pytest, and similar technologies.

• Create automated tests for REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven architecture.

• Develop solutions for performance and load testing to verify system scalability.

• Implement automated security and compliance testing for handling PHI data.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.

• Promote ongoing enhancements in test coverage and efficiency.

• Conduct code reviews for test automation scripts.

• Establish testing standards, methodologies, and best practices.

• Lead efforts to enhance test infrastructure and tools.

• Manage automation coverage metrics and reporting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent education and experience is required.

• A minimum of 10+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.

• Proven track record of building and launching high-quality products.

• Proficient in Scrum or other agile methodologies.

• Skilled in Selenium, C#, Azure, API testing, and performance testing.

• Strong analytical abilities to resolve complex issues by leveraging business data.

• Capable of producing effective documentation.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills necessary for documenting and interfacing with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail essential for ensuring accuracy and effective project execution.

• Ability to work autonomously as a self-starter, while also demonstrating excellent teamwork capabilities.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the capacity to collaborate across various departments.
