Senior QA Test Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Develop testing and automation strategies, including estimates and project timelines for software quality assurance.

• Collaborate with product owners to design and formulate test cases and scenarios.

• Mentor and guide junior QA engineers to enhance their skills.

• Partner with product owners, DevOps, and software engineers to establish a continuous delivery framework.

• Work closely with engineers, testers, and product management across the organization to influence product development and enhance product offerings.

• Acquire and demonstrate knowledge on how projects and products can provide value to the business.

• Design and execute comprehensive test automation frameworks and strategies for web applications, APIs, and data pipelines.

• Build and sustain automated test suites utilizing modern tools and frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, and Pytest.

• Create automated tests for REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.

• Develop performance and load testing solutions to verify system scalability.

• Implement automated testing for security and compliance related to handling PHI data.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.

• Promote continuous improvement in test coverage and effectiveness.

• Conduct code reviews for test automation scripts.

• Establish testing standards, methodologies, and best practices.

• Lead efforts to enhance testing infrastructure and tools.

• Drive metrics and reporting for automation coverage.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience is required.

• At least 10 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.

• Proven track record of building and launching high-quality products.

• Proficient in Scrum or other agile methodologies, as well as experience with Selenium, C#, Azure, API testing, and performance testing.

• Strong analytical abilities to tackle complex issues by effectively manipulating and utilizing business data.

• Capable of producing thorough documentation.

• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-pressure, deadline-driven work environment.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential for documenting and liaising with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail to ensure precision and effective execution of all projects and tasks.

• Ability to work independently as a self-starter while also demonstrating strong teamwork capabilities.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across various departments.
