Senior QA Engineer – Payments

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

📋 Description

• Test Strategy & Planning: Create and uphold testing plans, test cases, and checklists for web and mobile functionalities, focusing on risk-based coverage and adherence to regulatory standards.

• Manual Testing Execution: Carry out exploratory, functional, regression, and acceptance testing across various environments and devices.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and Support teams to establish acceptance criteria, take part in grooming sessions, and offer early quality feedback during the discovery phase.

• Documentation & Reporting: Keep test documentation up to date, generate actionable bug reports, and relay quality metrics and release risks to stakeholders.

• Continuous Improvement: Engage in enhancing QA processes, introduce effective checklists, and work alongside engineers to boost testability and automation coverage over time.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in manual QA within web product teams, ideally in fintech or other regulated sectors.

• Strong practical experience with exploratory, functional, regression, and acceptance testing.

• Proficient in crafting and executing clear, reproducible test cases.

• Understanding of APIs, basic backend concepts, and CI/CD practices adequate for validating integrations and communicating effectively with engineers.

• Familiarity with bug-tracking and test-management tools (e.g., Jira).

• Fundamental knowledge of testing and browser development tools is necessary.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and Russian.
