This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +22 more states.
• Develop thorough, detailed, and well-organized test plans and test cases.
• Assess tickets (bugs, enhancements, new features) and other technical documentation to participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle.
• Create, execute, troubleshoot, and perform both manual and automated tests using frameworks like Playwright.
• Strategize and construct automated testing frameworks that align with development workflows, deciding what to automate (regression tests, API endpoints, critical user flows) and the appropriate timing for running specific tests.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, coordinate, and execute quality testing activities.
• Work closely with cross-functional scrum teams and liaise with the larger organization.
• Uphold best practices in all tasks, including meaningful test coverage and a focus on maintainability.
• Mentor junior QA team members and promote quality standards.
• Design and uphold test data strategies, which include generating hundreds of thousands of Salesforce records for performance testing, managing data versions, and ensuring pristine test environments.
• Formulate and implement performance testing strategies to pinpoint system bottlenecks, load capacities, and optimization possibilities using suitable testing tools.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Cumulus CI, MetaDeploy) to deliver prompt feedback on code modifications and serve as deployment gates.
• Over 5 years of software testing experience with a proven track record in test automation.
• More than 3 years of testing experience on the Salesforce platform with in-depth knowledge of platform constraints.
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks, especially Playwright.
• Proficient in programming languages relevant to test automation.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and processes (preferably GitHub Actions, Cumulus CI, MetaDeploy).
• Performance testing experience with applicable tools.
• Experience testing mobile applications through emulators, simulators, or cloud device farms using automation frameworks.
• Ability to manage test data lifecycles and keep test environments in sync with code deployments via version control systems.
• Excellent English communication skills with a demonstrated ability to collaborate across departments, time zones, and remote teams.
• Self-motivated and adaptable: keeps up with testing methodologies, remains calm under pressure, and excels in fast-paced remote settings.
