Senior QA Automation Engineer – TypeScript, Node.js, WebdriverIO, API Testing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Develop and uphold automated testing frameworks for backend services and APIs

• Integrate with the current TypeScript / WebdriverIO / Serenity automation repository

• Create impactful tests for REST API, contract, and schema validation

• Assess service performance across microservices boundaries and asynchronous workflows

• Embed automation within GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines

• Aid in enhancing the reliability of learner provisioning and certification processes

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in creating production-ready test automation using TypeScript and Node.js

• Proficient with end-to-end automation frameworks like WebdriverIO, Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium

• Solid understanding of backend systems, including their behavior during failure and recovery

• Familiarity with REST APIs, service contracts, schema validation, and authentication processes
