Senior QA Automation Engineer / Tester

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Develop and execute automated testing strategies for APIs, web, and/or mobile applications.

• Create and sustain scalable automation frameworks.

• Collaborate with the team to define and monitor quality metrics.

• Work alongside developers and product teams from the initial feature ideation phase.

• Perform test code reviews and advocate for QA best practices.

• Analyze intricate bugs and assist in root cause analysis.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of QA processes and tools.

• Act as a technical quality leader, fostering a culture of quality throughout the development lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Senior QA Automation Engineer within agile teams.

• Proficient in at least one programming language for automation, such as Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, or Python.

• Practical experience with automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or RestAssured.

• Familiarity with API testing (REST/GraphQL) and tools such as Postman or Insomnia.

• Understanding of CI/CD practices, including GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins, integrated with test automation.

• Capability to design end-to-end testing strategies and possess a strong quality mindset.

• Experience in high-scale environments, such as fintech, e-commerce, or SaaS.

• Knowledge of performance and security testing.

• Prior experience as a technical QA lead or mentor.

• Background in microservices, messaging systems, and distributed architectures.
