Senior QA Automation Engineer – Test Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and execute automated testing strategies for APIs, web applications, and integrations.

• Create and sustain scalable automation frameworks.

• Collaborate with the team to define and monitor quality metrics.

• Partner closely with developers and product teams starting from the feature conception phase.

• Perform test code reviews and advocate for QA best practices.

• Analyze production bugs and suggest preventive enhancements.

• Foster a culture of continuous testing through CI/CD processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Senior QA Automation Engineer or Test Engineer.

• Expertise in test automation utilizing at least one programming language (e.g., Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or C#).

• Practical experience in API testing (e.g., REST Assured, Postman, Cypress, Playwright, etc.).

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).

• Understanding of functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing.

• Prior experience in agile environments (Scrum/Kanban).

• Availability to work full-time as an independent contractor (PJ).

• Preferred: experience in performance and load testing.

• Preferred: background in microservices and cloud architecture.

• Preferred: involvement in defining product-level QA strategies.

• Preferred: contributions to QA communities, including talks, blogs, or open-source projects.
