Senior QA Automation Engineer, Payments

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and execute strategies for performance and load testing of web applications and backend services.

• Write, optimize, and maintain automation scripts to enhance and streamline testing procedures across various environments.

• Establish and expand a robust automated testing framework that encompasses test plans, test cases, and continuous testing pipelines.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and customer success, to ensure that testing strategies align with overall project objectives and deliverables.

• Implement and manage continuous integration (CI) and continuous testing (CT) pipelines to provide timely feedback regarding application performance and quality.

• Monitor, analyze, and report on application performance and resource usage throughout testing cycles.

• Deliver clear and detailed test reports, including actionable insights for stakeholders.

• Keep abreast of industry trends, automation technologies, and best practices to continually enhance the test automation process.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in automated testing, with a strong emphasis on writing and maintaining automation scripts.

• More than 5 years of experience in performance and load testing.

• Proficiency in load testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.

• Practical experience with test automation tools like Playwright and C#, or similar, with a proven track record of writing test scripts from scratch.

• Must successfully pass a Level II fingerprint background screening (required by certain Brandt customer contracts).
