Senior QA Automation Engineer, Inglés

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee the comprehensive QA strategy for the full-stack platform, which encompasses the Next.js front end, C#/.NET backend, and various integrations.

• Create, develop, and sustain automated test suites for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end (E2E) testing scenarios.

• Establish and implement quality gates within the CI/CD pipeline.

• Direct test coverage for essential third-party integrations, such as credit bureaus, dealer systems, fraud prevention, and verification service providers.

• Assess REST API contracts, including retry logic, idempotency, and handling of edge cases.

• Evaluate DEFI Solutions loan origination processes, with a focus on scorecards, rules, decision workflows, and operational data.

• Engage in sprint planning, story grooming, and design reviews to pinpoint quality risks prior to development.

• Collaborate with the Tech Lead to ensure QA practices align with engineering standards.

• Represent the end-user perspective and serve as the quality advocate within the team.

• Connect the nearshore team with stakeholders in the United States, ensuring effective communication in English.

• Design and maintain automation frameworks utilizing Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar tools.

• Leverage AI-assisted testing tools to enhance test coverage and minimize manual effort.

• Manage test environments, test data, and QA documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in QA.

• At least 4 years of experience in test automation.

• Proficiency in NUnit.

• Familiarity with Playwright.

• Experience with Cypress.

• Knowledge of Selenium.

• Experience conducting End-to-End (E2E) testing.

• Background in integration testing.

• Proficiency with REST APIs.

• Experience with CI/CD processes.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

• Experience utilizing GitHub Copilot.

• Experience with Claude.

• Advanced proficiency in English, at least B2 or C1 level, is essential.

• Must reside in Mexico.

• Availability for a direct, indefinite contract with an exclusivity clause.
