Senior QA Automation Engineer – AWS, Salesforce

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Design and establish an automated testing framework that encompasses both our AWS-hosted web application and the associated Salesforce native workflows.

• Automate comprehensive user journeys that span multiple platforms (e.g., actions initiated in our cloud web UI that trigger deployments or metadata backups within Salesforce).

• Develop reliable UI tests for Salesforce Lightning that withstand dynamic ID alterations and adeptly manage Shadow DOM components (utilizing UTAM, Playwright, or enterprise testing solutions).

• Create robust API automation suites to ensure the validity of real-time data integrations, webhooks, and secure queues operating between AWS and Salesforce.

• Seamlessly integrate the automated test suites into contemporary Git-based CI/CD pipelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in QA Automation Engineering, with a focus on intricate enterprise integrations.

• In-depth Salesforce Knowledge: Exceptional grasp of Salesforce Lightning architecture, metadata, security frameworks, and developer workflows.

• Technical Expertise: Skilled in code-first automation (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium) OR extensive knowledge of Salesforce-specific automated testing tools (Provar, ACCELQ, or UTAM framework).

• API & Database Testing: Proficient in REST API testing and a solid understanding of SOQL queries for direct verification of Salesforce databases.

• DevOps Orientation: Strong experience in establishing automated test processes within CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab, or cloud-based development tools).
