Senior QA Automation Engineer – Automated

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Contribute to a significant project for a retail client.

• Ensure the quality, automation, and testing of digital applications.

• Validate applications and assess end-to-end processes.

• Investigate scenarios to identify potential risks.

• Suggest solutions and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Conduct mobile testing on both Android and iOS platforms.

• Test REST and GraphQL APIs and confirm GraphQL contracts.

• Perform functional, exploratory, integration, regression, and end-to-end (E2E) testing.

• Validate JSON payloads.

• Utilize tools such as Postman, Insomnia, or similar applications.

• Engage in mobile automation and Device Farm operations.

• Work with Bitrise, Git, and CI/CD processes.

• Review logs and carry out basic observability tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong experience as a Senior QA Automation Engineer.

• Background in testing mobile applications.

• Familiarity with both Android and iOS platforms.

• Experience with React Native.

• Proficient in testing REST and GraphQL APIs.

• Capable of validating GraphQL contracts.

• Skilled in validating JSON payloads.

• Experience with functional, exploratory, regression, integration, and E2E testing.

• Knowledge of mobile automation techniques.

• Experience with or understanding of Device Farm.

• Familiarity with Bitrise.

• Proficient in using Postman, Insomnia, or similar tools.

• Knowledge of Git and CI/CD practices.

• Basic understanding of logging and observability concepts.

• Ability to work independently, demonstrating critical analysis and fault investigation skills.
