Senior QA Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.

📋 Description

• Define, implement, and manage the strategy and execution of automation testing.

• Lead the design, development, and execution of automated testing scripts.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and establish testing requirements.

• Ensure the quality and reliability of software releases through thorough testing.

• Mentor and guide junior automation engineers in industry best practices.

• Develop and maintain automation frameworks and toolsets.

• Provide reports on testing progress, defects, and overall product quality.

• Continuously seek improvements in the automation testing process.

• Work in close collaboration with product managers and developers.

• Advocate for the adoption of best practices in automation testing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in QA automation, including leadership positions.

• Proven expertise with automation frameworks for functional, integration, load, and distributed systems testing.

• Strong comprehension of software development life cycles and methodologies.

• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities.

• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.

• Experience in the gaming industry is highly advantageous.

• Familiarity with Selenium, Playwright, or comparable tools.

• Experience with JUnit or similar testing frameworks.

• Experience with TestNG or similar testing frameworks.

• Familiarity with Gatling, JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar performance testing tools.

• Experience with Gremlin, Chaos Monkey, or similar chaos engineering tools.

• Proficiency in Java, Scala, or Python programming languages.

• Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices.

• Experience using Git for version control.

• Familiarity with Jenkins or similar automation tools.

• Understanding of API testing methodologies.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
