Senior QA Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Indonesia.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and enhance robust automation frameworks utilizing contemporary tools (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Selenium).

• Create clean and maintainable automated test suites for web applications, API services, and various other application types.

• Integrate automated testing into Git-based CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins) to facilitate continuous delivery.

• Execute and oversee functional, regression, integration, and specialized performance testing.

• Engage in requirement reviews to establish test scenarios, identify edge cases, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

• Conduct root cause analysis of failures and collaborate with development and product teams to address defects and meet quality metrics.

• Manage test data, mocks, and environments, while developing specialized tools (e.g., monitoring/reporting dashboards) to enhance QA efficiency.

• Document test plans, test cases, and automation design decisions, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of QA processes and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.

• Over 3 years of experience in QA Automation for backend services and cloud infrastructure.

• Strong proficiency with automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or Appium.

• Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript is essential.

• Solid comprehension of REST APIs and automated API testing tools (Postman, Newman, REST Assured).

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git).

• Understanding of software testing methodologies and QA best practices.

• Familiarity with microservices, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), and containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes) is advantageous.
