Senior QA Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Accountable for leading automated testing initiatives

• Develop and execute exploratory and automated test scenarios

• Engage hands-on with the squad Engineers to refine, design, and deliver new Product features

• Discover new opportunities for automation testing to enhance quality

• Actively enhance processes with a shift-left approach to quality

• Oversee quality gates for releases within the squad

• Contribute to the broader QA strategy, architecture, and tools across all products to ensure uniformity

• Enthusiastic about your profession, eager to learn and embrace new technologies

• Proficient in tools and frameworks such as Cypress or Selenium, Playwright, Junit, Postman, Saucelabs

• Excel in collaborating within a tight-knit team, making collective decisions to provide the most valuable experience for our customers

• Experience in a fast-paced agile environment

• Familiarity with the shift-left strategy

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities

• Enjoy collaboration with remote colleagues

• Solid understanding of testing and the testing pyramid framework

• Knowledge of both manual and automated testing methodologies

• Familiarity with programming languages, preferably Java, Golang, JavaScript

• Experience using Jira, Confluence, and various agile tools

• Bonus points for:

• Experience with testing in a cloud infrastructure

• Load Testing using JMeter / Gatling

• Experience with Kubernetes / Docker

• Knowledge of MongoDB

• Familiarity with TypeScript

• Experience with SwiftUI

• Knowledge of React Native

• Involvement in open-source collaboration
