Senior QA Automation Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop, maintain, and enhance test automation frameworks.

• Design and automate functional, integration, and regression test scenarios.

• Collaborate with Development, Product, and Architecture teams to define the testing strategy.

• Review functional and technical documentation to pinpoint test scenarios.

• Create test cases utilizing BDD (Gherkin/Cucumber).

• Implement automated scripts for Web, API, and Mobile applications.

• Execute automated tests within Continuous Integration pipelines.

• Analyze execution results and troubleshoot failures.

• Log, track, and verify defects discovered during testing.

• Assist development teams in identifying the root causes of issues.

• Define and manage test data for automated testing.

• Engage in agile ceremonies, enhancing the quality of deliverables.

• Advocate for best practices in automation and software quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related disciplines.

• Extensive experience in Test Automation.

• Proficient in Selenium WebDriver.

• Experience with Appium for mobile automation.

• Familiarity with Java for developing automation scripts.

• Experience with Cucumber, BDD, and Gherkin.

• Understanding of testing processes: Unit Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, and Acceptance Testing.

• Experience in developing test scenarios and test cases.

• Knowledge of Jira, HP ALM, and Octane.

• Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban).

• Background in high-criticality corporate environments.

• Knowledge of continuous integration and test execution pipelines.

• Desirable technical skills: Rest Assured, Postman, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Bamboo, Git, Maven, Gradle, SonarQube, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL, relational databases, REST API testing, performance testing, Mock Services, Cloud Computing, Firebase, Azure DevOps, and TestContainers.

• Experience in financial or insurance market projects is an advantage.
