This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Create and uphold automated testing scenarios, primarily utilizing Robot Framework.
• Participate in the advancement of the automation framework's architecture and best practices.
• Evaluate new scenarios and pinpoint opportunities for automation.
• Execute and analyze automated tests, investigating failures and determining root causes.
• Identify, log, track, and validate defects.
• Assist the team in establishing test strategies and defining test cases.
• Integrate automation processes into CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor results of automated test runs and strive to minimize failures related to the environment or the automation itself.
• Offer technical support to other QA professionals in the creation and maintenance of automation.
• Engage in technical discussions concerning quality, architecture, and test strategy.
• Contribute to the definition and enhancement of quality processes and metrics.
• Take proactive measures by identifying risks and potential issues prior to software release.
• Extensive experience in software test automation, including the definition, implementation, maintenance, and evolution of automated test suites.
• Advanced proficiency with Robot Framework, including the creation of Keywords, organization of suites, component reuse, parameterization, and best practices.
• Knowledge of web application automation.
• Familiarity with Cypress, Playwright, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of Python, Java, or other programming languages utilized for automation.
• Experience with functional, regression, integration, system, acceptance testing, and API validation.
• Experience in planning, designing, executing, and monitoring tests.
• Understanding of software testing techniques and strategies.
• Capability to identify risks and define test scenarios.
• Experience in testing APIs using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with relational and/or non-relational databases.
• Ability to execute SQL queries for test validation and support.
• Experience working in agile environments such as Scrum and Kanban, including participation in Planning, Daily, Review, and Retrospective meetings.
• Proven experience collaborating with Developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, and other stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Definition of Ready and Definition of Done.
• Experience with Git and platforms such as GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, or Azure DevOps.
• Understanding of CI/CD and automated test execution within pipelines.
• Experience integrating automated suites into build and deployment processes.
• Familiarity with Jira, Xray, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of generating test reports and analyzing evidence, logs, and results.
• Understanding of Clean Code principles as applied to automation.
• Familiarity with patterns, architecture, and best practices for automation frameworks.
• Ability to develop reusable, scalable, and maintainable automation scripts.
• Experience in identifying and reducing fragile or flaky tests.
• Capability to conduct code reviews of automation code.
• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
