Senior QA Analyst – BI & Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Establish the testing strategy for validating dashboards and key performance indicators.

• Design test scenarios that encompass indicators, filters, dimensions, business rules, access profiles, and dashboard functionalities.

• Carry out validations between legacy reports and transitioned dashboards to ensure information consistency.

• Develop and maintain comparative queries to identify and analyze discrepancies.

• Collaborate with technical teams to investigate data inconsistencies.

• Validate filters, drill-down capabilities, data access security rules (Row-Level Security), and the masking of sensitive data when necessary.

• Document test results, evidence, identified discrepancies, and acceptance criteria.

• Assist in the homologation and validation phases of project deliveries.

• Monitor defect resolutions, conduct regression testing, and facilitate delivery approval.

• Contribute to the documentation of processes, test scenarios, and quality evidence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior QA Analyst or in comparable Software Quality positions.

• Proficient in defining and implementing functional, regression, and acceptance testing strategies.

• Familiarity with data, indicator, and dashboard validation processes.

• Experience in writing and executing SQL queries, particularly in BigQuery (GCP).

• Knowledge of Git for version control management.

• Background in data, BI, or Big Data environments is advantageous.

• Strong analytical skills to investigate inconsistencies and validate business rules.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
