Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the main point of contact for addressing client inquiries related to reporting or business development by utilizing precise and clear data analysis.

• Design and develop dashboards in Tableau to enhance client reporting, broaden patient demographics, and support emerging clinical initiatives.

• Implement business intelligence best practices to ensure dashboards are user-friendly, efficient, meet production standards, and align with business objectives.

• Construct analytical models in dbt to underpin Tableau dashboards and subsequent reporting.

• Utilize SQL and other tools to gather, process, and analyze extensive datasets from claims, EHR, HIE, and programmatic sources.

• Fulfill analytics requests and ad-hoc reporting requirements via Atlassian (e.g., JIRA), offering clear updates and prioritization.

• Collaborate with product, engineering, and internal data teams to create new tools and capabilities that enhance operational efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in healthcare data analytics, ideally in commercial and business development.

• More than 3 years of experience with Tableau, showcasing advanced skills in calculations, parameters, performance tuning, and interactivity.

• Tableau Desktop Specialist Certification or a related certification is preferred.

• Proficient SQL skills with the capability to rapidly develop analytic tools that yield actionable insights from large-scale data in Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses.

• Demonstrated ability to convey findings effectively through data storytelling that links insights with business goals and their impact.

• Ability to navigate uncertainty, make decisions with limited information, and adapt to changing business priorities.

• Experience using dbt for data modeling and utilizing GitHub for version control.

• Familiarity with healthcare data sources (e.g., claims, EHR, health information exchange) is a significant advantage.
