Business Intelligence Analyst, Data Insights

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Collect, analyze, and interpret extensive financial and operational data from diverse sources, including ERP, CRM, and other business systems.

• Create, maintain, and enhance dashboards, reports, and visualizations utilizing BI tools (such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik).

• Conduct ad hoc analyses to support business initiatives, focusing on profitability, productivity, client trends, and compliance.

• Partner with business units and leadership to comprehend data requirements and deliver precise, timely insights.

• Recognize trends, patterns, and actionable opportunities for improvement in accounting, audit, tax, and advisory services.

• Aid data quality initiatives and ensure the integrity of data across reporting solutions.

• Document processes, methodologies, and data definitions to promote transparency and repeatability.

• Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging BI technologies pertinent to accounting and professional services.

• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in clear and compelling formats.

• Assist in the automation of reporting and analytics processes.

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

• Proficient in applicable technologies.

• Ability to adhere to technical instructions and guidelines.

• Capable of documenting daily activities and system functions.

• Comfortable working within a team environment.

• Proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing across all levels of the organization, both internally and externally.

• Willingness to travel as needed for business and be available on-call.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
