BI Developer – Dashboard, Federal Health

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and business intelligence solutions utilizing Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization platforms.

• Create reports that deliver real-time insights into project performance, operational metrics, financial data, and implementation progress.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify reporting requirements, key performance indicators (KPIs), and dashboard functionalities.

• Generate SQL queries, data models, and reporting datasets that support enterprise reporting initiatives.

• Ensure the accuracy of dashboards by validating data sources, business rules, and reporting calculations.

• Enhance dashboard performance and usability to enrich the end-user experience.

• Work alongside the Data / Reporting Architect to establish enterprise reporting standards and best practices.

• Create technical documentation, user guides, and reporting specifications to support dashboard maintenance.

• Assist in executive briefings by developing visual reporting products and presentation materials.

• Suggest continuous improvements that boost reporting automation, data visualization, and business intelligence capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Information Technology, or a related field.

• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in developing business intelligence dashboards and enterprise reporting solutions.

• Proficient experience with Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or comparable business intelligence and visualization platforms.

• Experience in writing SQL queries and working with relational databases.

• Proven experience in developing executive dashboards, scorecards, and operational reporting solutions.

• Understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and best practices in enterprise reporting.

• Preferred experience with Azure, AWS, SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, or similar enterprise data platforms.

• Preferred experience supporting VA, VHA, DHA, or other Federal healthcare organizations, health IT, telehealth, or Federal program management.

• Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and customer service abilities.

• Capability to obtain and maintain a Level 3 Public Trust clearance.
