Senior QA Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Cultivate a strong and communicative team environment that supports our global full-stack development initiatives, encompassing both frontend and backend.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers, to develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications.

• Establish test strategies and oversee testing from the requirements gathering phase through to the release stage.

• Organize and conduct regression and feature testing to uncover bugs in the software.

• Create detailed, reproducible, and succinct bug reports.

• Assist in designing, refining, and distributing QA reports and feedback to development teams, product managers, customer support, and senior management.

• Engage in technical design discussions and advocate for testability and quality.

• Continuously enhance test cases to guarantee adequate coverage across all Zwift software products.

• Identify, source, define, and implement valuable, specialized tools and/or methods to enhance processes, automation, and reporting.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in Quality Assurance with a focus on Mobile Application testing (iOS/Android), API testing, and Server testing.

• Proven experience leading testing efforts for client-server applications and native apps.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• At least 2 years of recent experience utilizing JIRA and TestMo to assist Agile development teams.

• Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments alongside cross-functional teams.

• Capability to design and write effective test strategies for complex systems and features.

• Comprehensive understanding and experience with QA methodologies, tools, and practices.

• Proficient in database validation testing (SQL/NoSQL) to ensure data integrity and consistency.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) and test integration.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent demonstrable experience and capability.
