Senior Python Software Engineer – AI Product

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, and sustain scalable backend services using Python.

• Create new microservices and improve existing platform capabilities.

• Take complete ownership of features, from technical design to implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

• Develop asynchronous services and components for real-time communication.

• Work with distributed systems and message brokers.

• Collaborate intimately with Product, QA, and Engineering teams throughout the entire development lifecycle.

• Engage in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.

• Write clean, maintainable, and thoroughly tested production code.

• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and promote engineering best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of commercial experience in Python development.

• Strong skills in object-oriented programming (OOP).

• Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining production backend applications.

• Experience in designing and developing microservices.

• Solid understanding of the complete Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

• Familiarity with asynchronous programming, data streaming, and WebSockets.

• Experience with frameworks such as Django or FastAPI.

• Knowledge of messaging systems like RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar.

• Proficiency in using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Strong experience with Git workflows and version control.

• Fundamental knowledge of software engineering and system design.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and a quick aptitude for learning new technologies.

• Experience working in agile, cross-functional product teams.

• Proficient in written and spoken English.
