Senior Python Software Engineer – AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Develop client code that is not only efficient but also optimized for performance, testability, scalability, security, and quality.

• Ensure code security through Software Composition Analysis (SCA), and lead remediation efforts through triaging, prioritization, remediation, and verification.

• Provide precise status tracking, reporting, and estimation utilizing project methodologies and tools.

• Collect requirements, confirm understanding among the team, and create and maintain relevant documentation.

• Design and implement scalable AI and agentic workflows using LLMs, with an emphasis on reliability and observability.

• Carry out activities within the established methodology while maintaining the highest quality standards.

• Collaborate directly with Product and Engineering leadership to convert complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Identify and address technical debt to enhance system stability, performance, and developer productivity.

• Take responsibility for projects, from technical design through to successful launch.

• Participate in code reviews to uphold code quality and consistency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive professional experience in software engineering, primarily focusing on Python and distributed systems.

• Demonstrated ability to manage technical features from design to production deployment with minimal oversight.

• Strong understanding of system design, architecture, and the capability to tackle ambiguous technical challenges.

• Proficiency with Git source control tools (GitHub, GitLab, or others).

• Expertise in Python package management (pip, Conda, or others).

• Experience with unit testing (Pytest).

• Design and implement scalable AI and agentic workflows using LLMs, emphasizing reliability and observability.

• Experience managing Docker containers and orchestration with Kubernetes and AKS.

• Intermediate design proficiency using UML / C4 / ArchiMate.

• Experience in engineering software systems of medium to large scope and complexity.

• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.

• Proficient in relational databases.

• Experience in developing frontend and backend applications at scale.

• Proficiency in the English language.
