Senior Python, Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement software solutions using Python and Java.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to define, design, and launch new features/products.

• Enhance and optimize the performance of current applications.

• Detect and resolve bugs and performance challenges.

• Engage in code reviews to ensure high-quality code standards.

• Document processes and outcomes, aiding in the maintenance of team knowledge.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in Python development (at least 3 years) with frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI.

• Proven Java development experience (minimum of 1 year) focusing on microservices, containerization, APIs, and IAM integrations (OAuth, OpenID, SAML).

• Familiarity with both relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational databases (MongoDB).

• Knowledge of version control systems (Git).

• Proficiency in writing automated tests and experience with TDD/BDD methodologies.

• Understanding of RESTful APIs and integration with external services.

• Experience working within agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).

• Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to work autonomously.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Proficient in English at an advanced level.
