Senior Python Engineer, EU or LATAM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.

📋 Description

• Design, enhance, and optimize sophisticated services developed in Python that facilitate data synchronization and transformation across over 300 source APIs and more than 30 destinations.

• Create new connectors and refine existing ones, managing authentication flows, rate limits, retries, pagination, and variations in schemas.

• Enhance the scalability and reliability of production systems, focusing on performance, concurrency, monitoring, and incident prevention.

• Produce well-tested code (using pytest) and evaluate merge requests from colleagues.

• Participate in two-week sprints allowing for flexible prioritization; we prioritize practicality over heavy processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 4 years of professional programming experience, with a strong focus on Python.

• Proven experience in building and maintaining complex, production-level systems.

• Familiarity with integrating third-party APIs, including authentication, rate limits, pagination, and error management.

• Strong understanding of Python fundamentals: OOP, mutable vs. immutable types, and concurrency (threads/async).

• Extensive experience with Linux-based development and production settings.

• Proficient in SQL (we utilize PostgreSQL).

• You thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can make a meaningful impact and take ownership.

• Proficient in English (both written and spoken); our team operates fully remotely with an asynchronous-friendly approach.

• Must be willing to undergo a background check.
