Senior Python Engineer, Agentic AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement AI-driven and autonomous workflows using Python in contemporary cloud-native settings.

• Take charge of the technical direction for AI/ML components, covering architecture, orchestration, model integration, and performance enhancement.

• Collaborate with product, engineering, and client stakeholders to define the roadmap for AI-enhanced and autonomous system functionalities.

• Assess and incorporate LLMs, agent frameworks, vector search, embeddings, retrieval pipelines, and tool orchestration into production environments.

• Set a standard through high-quality coding, robust engineering practices, and thoughtful technical decision-making.

• Promote experimentation, prototyping, and quick iterations to validate AI-driven product concepts.

• Ensure AI systems are dependable, observable, secure, and maintainable within production settings.

• Guide engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence and innovation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid Python engineering background with experience in developing production-grade systems.

• Proven track record of delivering AI/ML or LLM-powered features in production environments, beyond mere experimentation.

• Practical experience with agentic AI frameworks, LLM APIs, vector databases, retrieval pipelines, or ML workflows.

• Capability to influence architecture, product trajectory, and long-term technical strategy.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and comfort in high-autonomy environments.

• Excellent communication skills and the capacity to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Experience in fast-paced, client-facing, or consulting environments is advantageous.
