Senior Public Relations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and guide at least one direct report.

• Take charge of the PR and Communications strategy for Seeking.com.

• Develop a quarterly growth plan for each direct report.

• Create press releases, media alerts, pitch letters, and additional materials.

• Directly pitch to journalists and cultivate ongoing relationships.

• Equip Co-CEOs with briefing materials for their public appearances.

• Supervise the establishment and management of a curated collection of Seeking members.

• Act as the primary client liaison for external agencies.

• Continuously monitor the news cycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in PR agencies, in-house PR, and/or journalism.

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field, or an equivalent professional background.

• Proven track record of securing tier-one media coverage.

• Outstanding writing and editing capabilities.

• Experience in managing PR agency or vendor relationships or working within a top agency.

• Strong personal media connections with journalists, podcast bookers, or producers.

• Familiarity with Muck Rack, Cision, Meltwater, or similar tools.

• Proven experience in mentoring or overseeing junior talent.
