This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Spearhead a variety of medical communication projects, which encompass exhibit booths, patient materials, advisory boards, publications, clinical posters, newsletters, KOL development, and webcasts.
• Manage the entire project lifecycle from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget constraints, and quality benchmarks.
• Provide guidance and support to Project and Associate Project Managers, addressing challenges and enhancing workflow efficiency.
• Actively identify and manage risks, escalating intricate issues to senior leadership when required.
• Function as the main client liaison, cultivating trust and leading strategic conversations.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with faculty, external partners, and Key Opinion Leaders.
• Facilitate client meetings, status updates, and program evaluations, delivering insights and recommendations effectively.
• Recognize opportunities for organic growth within accounts and participate in new business endeavors.
• Collaborate with internal departments such as Medical Strategy, Editorial, Creative, Meeting, IT & Web, Fulfillment, and Accounting.
• Oversee external vendors and freelance contractors to guarantee quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely project completion.
• Assist in the development and enhancement of internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and processes.
• Manage program financials, which includes forecasting, margin oversight, and compliance with scope requirements.
• Authorize project budgets and proactively manage scope adjustments or overages.
• Lead project teams, offering coaching, guidance, and performance feedback.
• Support leadership in conducting team performance evaluations and planning for advancement.
• Contribute to the creation of new business proposals, presentations, and client research.
• Improve internal processes and tools for increased efficiency and quality.
• Travel up to 25%, including nights and weekends as necessary.
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred (Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field); significant relevant experience may be considered in lieu.
• 5–7+ years of experience in agency or medical communications, with a focus on managing complex projects and client relationships.
• Previous experience in leading project teams is highly preferred.
• Outstanding organizational and multitasking skills in dynamic environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities; proficient in leading discussions and managing stakeholder expectations.
• A problem-solving attitude with a keen eye for detail and a strong customer service orientation.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
