This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and direct projects alongside technical team members, consisting of 1 to 10 technical consultants.
• Manage status reporting, including authoring, communication, impact assessments, and risk evaluations.
• Facilitate management and account meetings by offering insights regarding the account, project timeline, scope, and budget.
• Collaborate with Technical Team Leads to ensure that all technical objectives are encompassed, represented in the plan, and effectively managed.
• Engage with all stakeholders to cultivate strong relationships with customers and subcontractors.
• Act as the primary point of contact for our clients regarding project-related matters.
• Coordinate support for urgent and complicated issues as they arise.
• Ensure that scope and requirements are monitored and controlled throughout the project's lifecycle.
• Actively seek opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and strengthen client relationships.
• Manage daily client interactions, identifying needs and expectations while evaluating alternative business solutions.
• Establish enduring relationships with client personnel that strengthen client connections.
• Present metrics on project quality, client satisfaction, team satisfaction, and project success during review meetings with the managing director.
• Track and report weekly on percent completion, schedule, burn rate, earned value, slippage, issues, risks, opportunities, and other key project indicators.
• Maintain an accurate document for issues and risk tracking, along with an associated mitigation plan.
• Forecast revenue, profitability, margins, billing rates, and utilization with precision.
• Monitor and report team hours and expenses on a weekly basis.
• Oversee the project budget and profitability.
• Determine appropriate revenue recognition, ensuring timely and precise invoicing, and keep an eye on project receivables.
• Conduct weekly meetings with the Project Accountant.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations Director, and Account Manager to ensure clients understand expectations, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and progress.
• When necessary, work directly with clients or in collaboration with account management and/or team leads to obtain sign-off on deliverables or documentation.
• Communicate updates on progress, risks, expectations, timelines, milestones, and other essential project metrics to clients and team members.
• Complete special projects as assigned.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5-7 years of experience in contracts, sales operations, and/or project management roles.
• Background in a professional services environment is essential.
• Proven track record of success in a matrixed organizational structure.
• Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet and database applications, data query tools, and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Understand fundamental revenue models, P/L, cost-to-completion projections, and possess the ability to make independent decisions aligned with business objectives.
• Familiarity with consulting pricing models and billing procedures.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Self-managed individual.
• Proven ability to build positive relationships with both internal and external customers.
• Demonstrated efficiency and effectiveness under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Strong focus and passion for customer experience.
• Experience working collaboratively with Sales and an Account Manager as a supportive team for each customer in their portfolio.
