Preschool Educator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the overall maintenance of designated classrooms and all associated environments throughout the academic year.

• Designs and prepares materials for activities and display boards related to current and upcoming topics.

• Conducts presentations and instructs children on the proper usage and care of equipment and materials to prevent injuries or damage.

• Organizes and facilitates activities to enhance various areas of development, such as: arts and crafts, music and singing, storytelling, imaginative play, games, and skills in numbers, shapes, colors, size recognition, as well as reading and writing.

• Expands children’s experiences and knowledge through the use of computer technology and science.

• Responsible for labeling students' work and maintaining the classroom display board according to specific topics and themes.

• Leads staff meetings concerning the curriculum and special functions related to it.

• Oversees the training and monitoring of assigned custodians in areas of acceptable classroom behavior, manners, hygiene sensitivity, and interaction with children.

• Handles all aspects of parent communication and post-shadow class transitions, including first-level grievance resolution for children continuing in day boarding.

• Conducts regular parent interaction meetings (one mandatory meeting with each parent every alternate month) and provides meaningful, measurable feedback regarding the child's overall holistic growth and development.

• Prepares children's reports and portfolios for parents each term.

• Ensures adherence to the school's policies and philosophy.

• Supervises curriculum planning and implementation.
