
Senior Project Specialist – AI/AN Victim Services Programs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Deliver comprehensive support for capacity building and compliance to AI/AN victim services programs.
• Strategize and implement assistance activities, including the development and enhancement of tailored assistance plans.
• Aid programs in crafting or improving victim services policies and procedures.
• Assist recipients in addressing OJP monitoring challenges and executing corrective measures.
• Assess the specific needs of individual grantees and collaborate with them to carry out tailored assistance plans.
• Cultivate and nurture genuine collaborative partnerships with tribal communities.
• Lead training sessions, including webinars and peer learning exchanges.
• Contribute to strategic planning efforts.
• Identify and disseminate culturally sensitive, trauma-informed practices.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• At least 5 years of experience working with AI/AN communities.
• A minimum of 5 years in the field of victim services.
• At least 2 years of prior experience in supporting federal grants programs.
• Willingness to travel as necessary.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory due to federal government contract requirements.
• Proven experience in providing customized grant management assistance to federal grantees.
• Familiarity with conducting community needs assessments.
• Ability to serve as a resource and offer insights to senior management and government clients regarding the unique challenges faced by AI/AN communities.
• Experience working within diverse communities, with a comprehensive understanding of AI/AN populations.
• Proficient in MS Office Applications.
