This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and oversee comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets while ensuring transparency regarding schedule, costs, and scope without micromanaging individual tasks.
• Monitor milestone performance (sprint objectives, demo targets, significant delivery phases) and provide status updates (R/Y/G) during weekly internal meetings, escalating Red and Yellow statuses as risks that need immediate attention.
• Keep track of progress, risks, issues, and dependencies throughout the project, maintaining an ongoing view of potential obstacles to delivery and the measures being taken to address them.
• Engage in all governance activities: internal and client kick-offs, stand-ups, retrospectives, and steering committee meetings.
• Ensure that deliverables satisfy quality standards and meet client expectations before they are released.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients regarding delivery: managing day-to-day project operations, ensuring status transparency, and handling escalations.
• Deliver clear and truthful updates to both internal and external stakeholders, focusing on critical issues rather than just past events.
• Foster trust with client stakeholders by demonstrating consistency, follow-through, and the ability to navigate challenging conversations when delivery is at risk.
• Monitor delivery scope and identify changes early, collaborating with the GM (commercial implications), PM (value and prioritization), and Technical Lead (feasibility) whenever there are scope adjustments.
• Manage change control from a delivery standpoint, ensuring that scope decisions are documented, understood, and agreed upon by all parties prior to execution changes.
• Coordinate change management initiatives as necessary, including user guides, training plans, communications, and rollout sequencing.
• Facilitate smooth transitions and adoption of deliverables, ensuring internal readiness at the client to integrate what has been created.
• Maintain alignment among sales, product, and engineering teams throughout the project, acting as the bridge that prevents information silos and avoids misalignment that could lead to delivery challenges.
• Promote continuous improvement in delivery processes across projects, contributing to the Tribe's developing delivery playbook.
• 5–10 years of experience in delivery, program management, or consulting, with a clear trajectory towards managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
• Demonstrated success in managing large-scale technical programs, holding personal accountability for milestones, budgets, and client relationships rather than merely supporting others.
• Strong background in consulting or enterprise delivery, comfortable in client-facing roles where expectations are high and ambiguity is prevalent.
• Product insight — you possess genuine opinions about what should be developed and why, actively engaging with the rationale behind deliverables and raising concerns when delivery deviates from business value.
• Disciplined in governance without being bureaucratic — you understand how to effectively run a program without introducing overhead that delays the team.
• Effective and honest communicator at the executive level — you prioritize meaningful information over noise and can engage in difficult conversations when delivery is at risk.
• Adaptable to the rapidly evolving AI landscape — while you don’t need to be a model expert, you should possess enough fluency to ask insightful questions and recognize when technical dynamics have changed.
• Experience managing distributed or contractor-based delivery teams across various workstreams.
• Health insurance
• Remote work options
