This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Drive the growth of orders within the Construction Ecosystem.
• Achieve or surpass the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Develop strategic relationships with leading general contractors, mechanical/electrical contractors, and consulting engineers in your region.
• Collaborate with Major Projects and Service Account Managers to foster growth in specific opportunities.
• Provide an accurate weekly order forecast using the Salesforce.com platform.
• Consistently meet order forecasts on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
• Establish professional relationships with relevant client decision-makers.
• Build a strong pipeline of pursuits within the Construction Ecosystem.
• Suggest and implement improvements to reach sales targets.
• Acquire new customer logos.
• At least 5 years of quota-carrying sales experience in the building automation (HVAC, fire alarm, or security systems) or industrial automation sectors.
• Post-secondary education in a related field.
• A valid Class 5 Driver's License.
• Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time to sites/customers in the Alberta Region.
• Bachelor's degree or College Diploma in the construction field.
• Strong knowledge of Building Management Systems, Fire, Security, and Software.
• Proficient in using the Salesforce.com platform.
• Solid understanding of direct sales of integrated solutions.
• Skills in outcome-based selling.
• Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed the Annual Operating Plan.
• Experience in C-Level selling.
• Strong understanding of the construction ecosystem.
