Senior Project Manager – SAP SuccessFactors

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and execute both large and small-scale SAP SuccessFactors IT projects from the planning phase to completion.

• Act as the primary point of accountability for the projects assigned.

• Direct project activities to align with client expectations and financial objectives.

• Monitor project expenses, track schedule advancements, and generate cost-to-complete reports.

• Develop project plans, kickoff presentations, forecasts, resource plans, and facilitate sales-to-delivery transitions.

• Keep project documentation up to date and deliver regular progress reports.

• Conduct internal project review meetings and finalize reviews of deliverables.

• Supervise the quality of deliverables, timelines, and adherence to budget constraints.

• Recognize and address project risks proactively.

• Create and manage project timelines and resource forecasts effectively.

• Oversee project scope and manage change requests.

• Facilitate client communications and serve as the main point of contact for schedule, budget, and scope inquiries.

• Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders.

• Support proposal efforts by providing estimates for support tasks.

• Identify opportunities for organic growth with existing clients.

• Coordinate and lead project staff while fostering a positive team atmosphere.

• Provide coaching, counseling, and mentorship to project team members.

• Identify and assist in determining necessary resources for potential projects.

• Manage escalations, negotiations, quality assurance, costs, and service delivery for clients.

• Guide, mentor, and support project managers in delivering SAP SuccessFactors projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, including defining project scope and budget, creating project plans, managing resources, resolving issues, and reporting status.

• At least 5 years of experience in PMO team management, sales support, quality control, account management, operations management, team leadership, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

• Proven experience in managing full-suite SAP SuccessFactors implementations.

• Experience overseeing ECP payroll implementations.

• Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project and Smartsheet.

• Familiarity with resource and financial management tools like Oracle and Salesforce.

• Must be a US Citizen.

• Ability to pass background checks and obtain public trust clearance if required.

• Willingness to travel up to 25% as necessary.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Capability to mentor project teams and share expertise with clients.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.

• Capacity to think creatively and analytically in a fast-paced, problem-solving environment.

• Skill in collaborating with various internal and external organizations.

• Ability to juggle multiple technical projects and daily operational tasks.

• Preferred: experience in implementing EC for existing SAP ECC Payroll clients remaining on ECC Payroll.

• Preferred: experience with transitions from ECC Payroll to ECP Payroll.

• Willingness to stay updated with SAP/SuccessFactors HCM technologies.

• Knowledge of current HR policies and practices, with the foresight to anticipate future system and process trends.

• Plus: experience in configuring, implementing, and supporting SAP HCM/Payroll or SuccessFactors modules.

• Plus: ability to gather and document business requirements effectively.

• Plus: understanding of technical data processing procedures, policies, and best practices.
