This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Oversee the complete lifecycle of SAP MES implementation, interfacing, and upgrade projects from start to finish.
• Achieve timely and budget-conscious delivery through detailed project planning and resource optimization.
• Lead cross-functional teams that include IT, operations, quality assurance, and regulatory stakeholders.
• Evaluate manufacturing processes and system performance to uncover opportunities for enhancement.
• Deploy data-driven solutions aimed at boosting manufacturing productivity.
• Ensure adherence to GMP, FDA, and EMA regulations.
• Perform risk assessments and formulate strategies for risk mitigation.
• Drive change management initiatives to facilitate the adoption of new systems and processes.
• Report on project status, advancement, and results to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
• Provide mentorship to junior project managers.
• A minimum of 5 years in project management.
• At least 3 years of experience managing SAP MES implementations within pharmaceutical or life sciences sectors.
• Proficient in SAP MES interfacing, configuration, customization, and system optimization.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with GMP standards and regulatory compliance requirements from FDA and EMA.
• Possession of a project management certification, such as PMP, PRINCE2, or a comparable agile certification.
• Capability to manage intricate, multi-site projects with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Skill in translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Advanced proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Strong skills in stakeholder management and communication.
• Experience with budget management and resource allocation.
• Preferred: Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation.
• Preferred: Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent training in process improvement methodologies.
• Preferred: Expertise in change management and experience in organizational transformation.
• Preferred: Experience overseeing multiple pharmaceutical manufacturing sites or managing global project portfolios.
