This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.
• Oversee the complete SAP MES implementation, interface, and upgrade projects from start to finish.
• Ensure timely and budget-friendly delivery through thorough project planning and resource management.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including IT, operations, quality, and regulatory departments.
• Evaluate manufacturing processes and system performance to uncover opportunities for optimization.
• Deploy data-driven solutions aimed at enhancing manufacturing efficiency.
• Guarantee adherence to GMP, FDA, and EMA standards.
• Perform risk assessments and formulate mitigation strategies.
• Lead change management initiatives and facilitate the adoption of new systems and processes.
• Report project status, progress, and results to senior leadership and stakeholders via presentations and reports.
• Provide mentorship to junior project managers.
• At least 5 years of experience in project management.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience managing SAP MES implementations within pharmaceutical or life sciences settings.
• Proficient in SAP MES interfacing, configuration, customization, and system optimization.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, GMP standards, and FDA and EMA regulatory guidelines.
• Possession of a project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or an equivalent agile certification.
• Capability to manage complex, multi-site projects involving cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Skill in translating business needs into technical solutions.
• Advanced expertise in project management tools and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in budget management and resource planning.
• Preferred: Background in SAP S/4HANA implementation.
• Preferred: Lean Six Sigma certification or similar process improvement methodology training.
• Preferred: Knowledge in change management and experience in organizational transformation.
• Preferred: Experience overseeing multiple pharmaceutical manufacturing sites or global project portfolios.
