This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.
• Oversee comprehensive SAP MES implementation, interface, and upgrade projects from inception to completion.
• Guarantee timely and budget-friendly delivery through meticulous project planning and resource management.
• Coordinate efforts among IT, operations, quality assurance, and regulatory teams.
• Evaluate manufacturing workflows and system performance to spot areas for optimization.
• Deploy data-driven strategies aimed at enhancing manufacturing productivity.
• Maintain compliance with GMP, FDA, and EMA regulations.
• Perform risk assessments and create strategies for mitigation.
• Support change management initiatives to promote the adoption of new systems and processes.
• Provide project status updates, progress reports, and outcomes to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Guide and mentor junior project managers.
• At least 5 years of experience in project management.
• Minimum of 3 years managing SAP MES implementations within pharmaceutical or life sciences settings.
• Proficiency in SAP MES interfacing, configuration, customization, and system optimization.
• In-depth understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing procedures, GMP standards, and FDA and EMA compliance requirements.
• Possession of a project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or an equivalent agile certification.
• Capability to manage intricate, multi-site projects involving cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Skill in converting business needs into technical solutions.
• Advanced knowledge of project management tools and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience with budget oversight and resource allocation.
• Preferred: Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation.
• Preferred: Lean Six Sigma certification or similar process improvement methodology training.
• Preferred: Expertise in change management and experience with organizational transformation.
• Preferred: Background in managing multiple pharmaceutical manufacturing locations or global project portfolios.
