Senior Project Manager, Quality & Commissioning

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee all elements of the quality and commissioning processes for data center projects, ensuring that systems are designed, installed, and tested to meet performance standards.

• Serve as the Senior QCx Manager, collaborating with design teams, contractors, vendors, operations, and stakeholders to guide quality and commissioning efforts from pre-construction to handover.

• Conduct site inspections to verify that systems are installed according to design specifications and Vantage Data Center standards.

• Supervise the documentation of testing and inspections related to quality and commissioning.

• Address issue resolution and provide regular progress reports to stakeholders.

• Ensure adherence to industry standards, safety protocols, and project specifications.

• Compile detailed commissioning reports and ensure effective training for operational teams.

• Support the mentorship of core Vantage team members in the area of quality and commissioning processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP Construction is required; 8 years is preferred.

• Required technical expertise and understanding of all mechanical and electrical systems that support the diverse range of projects in our portfolio and their interrelations.

• Strong business acumen to plan, manage, and execute essential duties with excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational capabilities, and proficiency in computer applications.

• Familiarity with coordination software such as BIM 360, Navisworks, AutoCAD, or REVIT is advantageous.

• Data Center experience is highly preferred, though not mandatory.
