This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee extensive, multi-disciplinary engineering projects from inception to completion within the Power Lifeline Sector.
• Manage the project scope, stakeholders, timeline, budget, and quality standards.
• Coordinate project execution teams and resources in a highly matrixed environment.
• Facilitate project meetings, progress assessments, and problem-solving discussions.
• Ensure that deliverables align with quality standards and meet client expectations.
• Create comprehensive project plans, which include risk management and mitigation strategies.
• Analyze issues, explore alternative solutions, and implement recommendations effectively.
• Serve as the point of contact for clients, providing updates on project status.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to oversee technical aspects of projects.
• Lead coaching, conflict resolution, facilitation, motivation, and negotiation efforts.
• Monitor schedules, costs, milestones, budgets, financial transactions, and overall project progress.
• Implement corrective actions and ensure project plans are current.
• Assess project health and key performance indicators.
• Comply with governance policies and procedures.
• Apply contract strategies across both prime and client agreements.
• Cultivate strong working relationships within project teams.
• Share and enact best practices across various projects and teams.
• Provide training and assistance to project team members.
• Address challenges, prioritize tasks, organize workload, and maintain a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in project management.
• Extensive experience in managing engineering projects.
• Experience in the power industry is preferred.
• Technical engineering knowledge is essential.
• Ability to comprehend and coordinate solutions for complex engineering challenges.
• PE, PMP, CCM, or an equivalent certification is preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing multi-disciplinary teams across project/program management, services, engineering, operations, and procurement.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with project management software such as MS Project, Primavera, or Planview Adaptive Work.
• Advanced understanding and experience in scheduling and cost planning.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Finance & Operations is preferred.
• Permanent authorization to work in the United States is required.
• Relevant military experience will be considered.
