Senior Project Manager, Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete execution of extensive projects that encompass curriculum development, software engineering, physical production, and service readiness.

• Strategically map and manage critical timelines, dependencies, and pathways.

• Recognize project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.

• Design and facilitate planning and execution meetings, ensuring documented ownership and accountability.

• Monitor, quality-assure, and prepare digital lesson materials for commercial launch.

• Evaluate team velocity and capacity while introducing process enhancements.

• Anticipate staffing requirements, capacity limitations, and production surges 2–3 quarters in advance.

• Establish vendor agreements, negotiate statements of work, oversee deliverables, and assess vendor performance.

• Provide stakeholders with transparent, data-driven updates regarding progress, scope adjustments, and resource requirements.

• Coordinate the delivery of software features, digital content, service design, and physical materials.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-8+ years of experience in managing complex projects within EdTech, software, or creative publishing environments.

• Extensive experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies for software development.

• Familiarity with Waterfall/Stage-Gate processes for print and physical production.

• Comprehensive understanding of products that span both web browsers and physical materials.

• Expert-level proficiency in project management tools such as Jira and Smartsheet, or alternatives like Monday.com/Airtable.

• Capability to create dashboards and tracking tools.

• Proficient in communicating technical software delays to content editors and creative design limitations to engineers.

• Background check required for selected candidates.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Willingness to travel to Amplify headquarters in New York for in-person onboarding or as required periodically during employment.
