Senior Project Manager – Photovoltaics Construction Phase

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

• In the role of (Senior) Project Manager, you will oversee the effective construction and commissioning of photovoltaic systems for our commercial clients throughout Germany.

• Your responsibilities will include conducting technical feasibility evaluations and preparing for construction, as well as monitoring the construction phase and assisting with commissioning.

• Utilizing your technical knowledge and experience, you will ensure that our projects operate seamlessly, our PV systems are commissioned on schedule, and our customers can harness as much sustainable energy as possible.

• Serve as the primary liaison between clients, external partner companies, and internal departments during the construction phase.

• Maintain transparency regarding project progress, proactively identify deviations, and implement appropriate actions in the event of delays.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in engineering, electrical engineering, or a related discipline – or an equivalent technical qualification such as Meister or Techniker.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a project engineer, technical planner, or in a similar position related to PV systems.

• Experience in managing external service providers and overseeing construction activities.

• Strong knowledge of the applicable standards and regulations for the installation and commissioning of PV systems.

• Proficient in commonly used Office and project management tools.

• High initiative and customer service orientation, along with an independent and organized working style.

• Proficient in German and competent in English.

• Possession of a Class B driving license and a willingness to travel frequently.

• Ideally, a drone license A1/A2 and a foundational understanding of medium-voltage systems.
