Senior Project Manager – Modern Platforms

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee all facets of IT projects, encompassing scope, timeline, resources, quality, budget, and change management.

• Ensure project delivery is executed within defined scope, on schedule, and within financial constraints.

• Manage the expectations and requirements of internal teams, partners, and customer stakeholders.

• Strategize and implement IT solution development initiatives.

• Collaborate with leadership in delivery and sales to enhance customer business value while supporting Presidio’s objectives.

• Create and sustain project schedules.

• Lead the resolution of issues related to budget, schedules, and scope, including escalation to Presidio leadership when necessary.

• Facilitate Scrum meetings, project meetings, and in-depth technical discussions.

• Ensure that deadlines and cost targets are achieved, escalating to Presidio leadership as needed.

• Maintain thorough project documentation and reporting through project management tools.

• Act as a bridge between business needs and technical project components.

• Direct cross-functional, virtual, and offshore teams.

• Develop project plans that track tasks, timelines, risks, and issues for both project and client teams.

• Guarantee that projects are in line with Presidio’s strategic goals.

• Function as a trusted advisor, assisting clients in navigating business challenges, clarifying outcomes, and shaping delivery for quantifiable value.

• Cultivate consultative partnerships with customers and identify opportunities that align with strategic aims.

• Promote a customer-centric approach throughout all project phases.

• Support Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps teams in delivering automation, assessments, cloud architectures, application migrations, and workshops.

• Communicate project timelines, KPIs, Agile Scrum standups and sprints, and delivery schedules to client stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and/or military service.

• Over 7 years of experience in IT project management and general IT consulting.

• Proven expertise in Project Management Institute standards, Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall methodologies.

• Capability to manage Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall processes for application development and modernization projects.

• Proficient in Confluence, Jira, and Microsoft Project.

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, Trello, Teamwork, Zoho, and comparable project management tools.

• Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

• Knowledge of AWS and/or Azure cloud technologies and cloud application frameworks.

• PMP or a similar professional certification is preferred.

• CSM or equivalent professional certification is preferred.

• AWS Cloud Practitioner or a comparable certification is preferred.

• Azure Fundamentals or a similar certification is preferred.

• Experience leading projects utilizing AWS and/or Azure technologies is preferred.

• Strong skills in time management, analytical thinking, communication, thought leadership, team building, motivation, and customer service.

• Exceptional client-facing communication and relationship-building abilities.

• Capacity to learn rapidly, adapt to change, and remain informed about emerging technologies and tools.
